I love textures and colors. Whenever I walk around I always wish I had a camera. So I started taking my digital camera wherever i go.
This picture was taken in Prospect Park early in the morning. I reworked it on Photoshop.
I am using it today to add it to my design portfolio.

I called it 'inhale.exhale'. I need to. exhale.

This is a new painting on Color Painter (much bigger than what I am used to although it doesn't show here). there are 2 versions: the original and one for my design class (with typography).
I have to present my portfolio on Monday to my teacher and class. What am going to show? I've been more active exploring painting/drawing than design. I really have to work hard on it tomorrow night.

It is a painting made on color painter. You see here three different versions.
One if for a design class. (I added typography). And two for fun.
I want to figure out how to do the "rusty" effect you find on tin cans, trashes. If you know how to do it please let me know.

More on Color painter. I have to buy the real application. I prefer Photoshop to manage layers and more.

My company needed a fresh look for its newsletter. Here it is. Their colors are orange and pink.

I've started painting again. It had been a while. I am switching between Photosop, color painter and painting. I am trying to learn about techniques as I am doing my drawings. I should keep a log of things that I like using.

I have to revisit the Oriental exhibition at the MET.

SVA assignment:

"think birdman what that could possibly mean.consider birdmen in history and how they've become iconic.the idea is to present a show on a particular theme that will be different and stand out. please be experimental and have fun with a silly topic. enjoy expressing yourself with the birdman theme."
So here is my version of the birdman... Any resemblance would be pure coincidence...

Just tried a new application. Had a quick try at it. Fun.

CD cover project SVA. Made up the name of the group and album titWith a square cover I lose a lot of he initial pix. le. It makes me practise Photoshop. The trouble is that I have the tendancy to forget all the little special effects I do.
I started with a design and then decided to select it for my CD.

I read a fascinating article about islamic scholar women in medievial time called 'hadits'. It inspired me to do my first collage.

Just for the fun of it. The sentence means nothing,

Iliade started drawing funky cartoons. She inspired me to do my owns.
This week end the family may create more little creatures and a story.
